Hello, I have the HP G2 Docking station 120W and I cannot charge my Envy laptop with it while I am plugged into it.
What causes this issue? I tried already with a Phone charger to try and charge it via USB C, but sadly I don't have any other USB C charging cables to try. Can anybody give me a solution perhaps?
If I need to provide any other things please say I will provide them 🙂

I don't think this is going to work.
It is not the port (which is most likely working correctly else nothing would connect / work) .
It is not the docking station.
The power requirements to charge the computer exceed what the USB-C port is able to provide.
The user guide explains that the port can charge small items (watch, phone).
