HP Laptop 17-by0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I close my laptop screen, a small piece of the top right corner of the main body of the laptop pops out of the frame. When I open it, that same piece pops back in with a loud snap. When I hold that spot down as I close the screen, it doesn't pop out, but I can feel the surrounding area lifting slightly.

I believe something in the hinge came loose or got caught on something, and my mother knows a lot about computers so she might be able to fix it herself, but I thought I should mention it to HP support first.

EDIT TO ABOVE: Also, as I realized when I took a closer look after closing the laptop, it is visibly not fully closed on the right half.
