My touchpad has been nearly inoperable, as it is glitchy and dragging your finger across either doesn't move the cursor at all, or moves very little and in strange motions. It also often leads to the screen zooming in and out. Occasionally however, it may revert to normal for around 30 seconds before going bad again. FYi, the left side of the touchpad is lower than the right side (pushed in), but it has been this way for over a year with no issue while this touchpad issue began about a week ago. Thoughts?

@Alberto16 --  It also often leads to the screen zooming in and out.

On a desktop computer, holding-down the CTRL-key, and rolling the "wheel" on the mouse causes such zooming.  I wonder if you are doing something similar on your keyboard/touchpad ?

Are you comfortable in disassembling your computer, to the point where you can adjust the touchpad, to make it "level" ?
