Hello,

It appears my touchpad may be partially broken. I can still move cursor with one finger and tap to place cursor, or open a link, but can no longer double click pad or use two finger scrolling on a web page. It's possible the touchpad may have been stepped on, and I'd like to replace it. I can't seem to identify the part number I need? And the only thing I can get from HP support is my warranty period has expired! Very frustrating!!! I just need a freakin' part number so I can purchase the part and replace it! Should it really be this hard?

Jeff

Welcome to HP Community

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

If you have confirmed that it is a Hardware issue you can try ordering the parts on HP Part Store

As per the HP Part Store, the Part no for the Touchpad Board is 926853-001   but this part is not orderable right now. The functional equivalent of that Touchpad Board would be the part No L01117-001 which is available on HP Part Store

Thank you

Hi, I do have one last question...can you point me towards an HP installation video, or from some other source? Thanks. Jeff
