Trying to print tax form 1099 .pdf on HP C6180 all I get is the outline of the boxes.

Likely there are elements on the form that the printer does not recognise.

 

Open the form in Adobe Reader DC

Print the form as an image.

 

Open the offending PDF file > File > Print > Advanced >>

  1. Set the printer select the colors

And / Or

  1. Print the PDF file as an image

 

Manage Print Output with Print Preview_PDF_1D.JPG

Perfect.  I did a "save as" which placed it in MS Word file, opened Documents, right clicked on file which opened a pop up titled "Open with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC", then clicked print. That did it. Thank you SO much!
