Hello, I have an OMEN 15-en0000 (1C099AV) Laptop, Product number: 37K24EA.

Since this is a laptop with a Ryzen processor, it does not have a tunderbolt output.

I would like to ask what motherboard does this computer have?

Is it possible to connect the AIC thunderbolt?

Hi,

Specs

https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c07041192

It is not really possible to place an add an add-on card with Thunderbolt .

Your motherboard is

AMD Ryzen R7-4800H processor and GeForce RTX 2060, 6 GB graphics card        part number M03621-xx1

as you can see on page 46 of service manual

Hope it helps,

David

there are external thunderbolt AIC cards why do you write that it is impossible?

You mean you would want to attach a M2 card to the M2 PCIe NVMe slot in the machine and then find a way to pass the cable to the outside of the PC?

I do not really see how this could easily work.

What thunderbolt AIC cards do you mean? Do you mean the ones you can use in a Desktop PC which connect to a PCIe slot?

Let me know,

David

just like that because there is no other way. when buying a laptop I was suggesting a lightning bolt on the side and I thought there was a tunderbolt here, all in all I need to connect the audio interface best regards, Sebastian

Well, what do you mean by audio interface. What do you need the Thunderbolt for?

We do not really discuss moding PCs here and I have never added a thunderbolt port to a notebook, but taking a look online i guess it might be possible since I believe your notebook has two M2 PCIe Ports. o maybe some kind of connector such as this  and then a Desktop Thunderbolt AIC card could possible be used. Again, I am not sure this would actually work and the notebook would be less "portable".

Hope it helps,

David
