Let's get something straight right from the beginning...
This is a peer to peer forum, not HP technical support. I do not work for or represent HP.
I have already informed you that notebooks with the Intel second generation core processors can support 2 x 8 GB of memory.
If you did not understand what an Intel second generation processor was, then you could have politely asked me to elaborate, instead of lecturing me on how I should formulate a reply to you.
The Intel Core i7-2670QM is a second generation core processor, so it supports 2 x 8 GB of memory, like Chapter 1, page 5 of the service manual indicates.
My reply was satisfactory as it answered your questions...how much memory you can install, and what specs would work.
You are right about one thing...I am old school...I expected you to read chapter 1 of the service manual, and you would have easily found what I wrote was correct. I don't post links to important documents for no reason.
Then if you had any additional questions after reading chapter 1 of the manual, you could have asked them, and I would have been happy to answer them for you.
What more do you need? Do you want a link to compatible memory? Here it is...

I volunteer hundreds of hours a year helping folks on this forum, answered thousands of various questions, solved many thousands of questions, and have been doing so for the last 10 years, so I'm not the one who has a problem here.
It's not my job to interact with people like you who presume to criticize me for no reason.
So feel free to give up with me, because I give up with you.
Good bye.

Hi:
I can't find any specs on that model.
If it has an Intel 2nd generation core processor, yes you can install 2 x 8 GB of memory in it.
Below is the link to the service manual. The memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1.

You can use DDR3/DDR3L 1333 or 1600 MHz memory,

Giving a link where ''I can find my solution'' it's not a proper way to reply to a request,
when subimitted through official channels.
I find it a ''old school'' way of dealing with issues.
Before I give up with you and I open another ticket,
I provide additional info on my processor as I read from ''System info'' .
You could have asked for it .
Intel Core i7-2670QM @2.20
Yes I opened the file you provided but I find it pretty unuseful.
I also opened some links suggested : https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/52213/intel-core-i7-2600-processor-8m-cache-up-...
