Is it possible that i can upgrade my laptop processor from i5 core to a better one.

Hi:

 

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

Chapter 1 has the list of supported Intel processors.

 

If your notebook only has the onboard Intel graphic adapter, you can upgrade to the Intel Core i7-620M processor.

 

If it has the Intel/AMD switchable graphics adapters, you can upgrade to the Intel Core i7-740QM processor.

 

The Intel quad core processors cannot work in notebooks with only the onboard Intel graphics.

 

They must have a discrete video adapter.
