BUYING HP PRODUCTS IS A WORST NIGHTMARE !!! WORST SERVICE !!!
I purchased my 2 laptops Hp pavilion one on 03/01/17 the other on march 2017, under 1 year warranty from Reliance digital Malad west.
Since March 2018 I encountered some issues, on both of my laptops of being very slow restart and was unable to update, on contacting Hp On Site support I was told as it was not under warranty there will be no service or support provided. Tried contacting reliance digital they asked me to personally visit and submit. I showed them the piece they asked me to take a backup and submit for a total wipe. Suddenly within a 2 days time I started facing a new problem on one of my laptop would not work without a charger cable connected.
I then took a backup the following day and submitted the laptop to them the very next day.
They did this hard reset but for the battery they could not help me any further with it as its an in built one and told me to get in touch with IQOR company on visit to them who too checked and said we need to replace the battery.
IQOR generated a service request and said Hp will contact me for the availability and send me a quotation for it. All I got is their service quotation of Rs 1623/- and nothing else about battery issue. After repeated enquiry for the battery on email and phone both they only sent me the same IQOR service quotation again and again.
After that waste of time I called Hp tech support and it just got worse from there, I come to know that there is no battery availability in the Hp company itself and more to it they clearly told me they cannot arrange for it and I should further check with all authorized dealers in Mumbai if they have or if they could arrange for one. I started calling a few dealers which banged the phone on me saying they don't have any.
As i had only used this laptop for 1 year and 3 months facing issues and the laptop giving one after the other complication you could imagine my frustration by now for Hp, Suffering with two laptop among which ones major about battery. How can you sell the product and refuse to provide service for it? Absolutely Horrible, Horrible Service and Products having No Support or Service back up from such big company for a product/model which was launched year and a half ago. I would say that I have no confidence in any Hp product and will not buy another product from it to go through such a pathetic service. Buying a product from Hp I wasted my money time and energy running about and making calls and emails frantically.
Stuck with it now with no options, I again visited Reliance Digital and requested for help in contacting hp they refused that they could not help me on it as battery is an accessory and they do not keep any. I visited Checkmate computers hp services in the same vicinity where they said they will try helping and finding out for a battery if they can. Although they escalated my complain no-one contacted me yet.
Still going through this ordeal and stuck in it.
I now demand an answer from Hp that why are you selling products while you cannot back them up? Why are you misguiding us by giving us faulty products which do not even work properly and you do not even have solution for it?
p.s- Even hard reset does not make my both the laptops work fine tried that too. Stop selling Hp.
