HP Recommended

the HP site on your pc does not show what is truely inside any PC. only in vague terms

so I unziped your driver pack chipset.

I says this.

Chipset#: Intel(R) 7 Series/C216 Chipset Family

im reading the readme.txt file inside the compressed (packed) HP loader.

it says W2000 to w7 support only,  got that? and win7 -64bit

then says.

- Core PCI and ISAPNP Services
            - PCIe Support
            - IDE/ATA33/ATA66/ATA100 Storage Support
            - SATA Storage Support
            - USB Support
            - Identification of Intel(R) Chipset Components in
              the Device Manager

why not load this driver, if fails , you know why. (this is w7 chip set for you PC) load that yet?

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp56001-56500/sp56156.exe

if that fails , then we know why,  the EXE will run and say all is good or fails. fails will possible on w8 and 10.

i cant run it for you, i have no pc if this type here,

now knowing that lil' secret intel series 7 chips

intel shows this.

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/21129/USB-3-0-Driver-Intel-USB-3-0-eXtensible-Host-Control...

now read intels response to that and W10 here

is this fun?

https://communities.intel.com/thread/82331

see the words there,

Intel has not developed words,

sorry but no man on earth make INTEL code drivers for old PC , to windows 10,

no man , lacking  a very very deep pocket of cash and Intel contract to do so.

again I ask you why must you run w10.

why?>  because Bill Gates says so?  (or his minions)  "the " it's more secure",  move now? "

oops MS forget so  say, well if it loads and runs, sure.

so we come full circle now,  HP says no go, intel  says no go.

so back to w7 you go. right>/?

leaving 2 cures.

the HP real media kit, gee it worked day one and still works 2017, why not run that.

or  load MS Windows 7 (not hacked disks full of virus) and then go to your HP support page and load all drivers seen there.

the HP kit is far cheaper than at MS.  by a lot.   $45? HP and $120  at MS.

the HP kit is OEM kit that is way.

if you run hackers disks i will not help you, for sure any thing illegal.

if you have a W7 MS retail disk and full retail license then its a go. ,otherwise, MS prices is big.

the MS web site will not let you download w7 with a HP OEM Key, it will not.

only the MS retail key works $$$

on ebay you can buy NOS disks,  new old stock , microsoft disks (real) in a sealed box.  legit.  just bought 2 .

but be careful for (disk sold no COA key) buy carefully,  make sure its sealed. up.

not upgrade disks of any kind.
