that image is no good. above. sorry
try words.?
or load the HP kit and move on....
my guess is your HDD was erased at some point and F11 is dead.
and then you thing Microsoft is the cure, no that path takes long hard work. for W7 and $120 cost. at MS.com
w7 is not free. nor is does the download from MS, work with your OEM w7 key on the bottom of PC COA key.
$120 cost at MS. the W10 is same but you can run a 30 day trial then $120 cost.
you do know that right,
you have only a cheap OEM license on that PC< i bet.
did you buy the pc new, i bet not.
did you ever see it and uses it while new. ?
did you buy it broken, or what? after all w10 got put there why?
history matters.

why not tell why W10 was installed lacking permission from HP.
you are free to install what you want, even linux,
but HP cant help you using the non supported OS....
why did you?
you said the USB works in windows7 , so its not that...right.?
MS told you you to run w10, they are wrong., to many this way who?, or for fun , a lark.
my guess is you plugged in a legacy device of some kind that W7 does not suport or the internet is dead on your PC
rendering PNP near useless,? (tell all deviced by make name and model ) or just 1, tell about one device failing.
next time when anything fails, ask here first, try not to install W10 causing 10 problems.
fix simple things , first.
what cant you do in w7, be clear please.
if the USB ports ever fail always test the port with a mouse then a keyboard.
to prove its dead. (port is dead)
if it is dead then device manager will tell you the port is dead, see? sure its dead or not.
if not port dead then a new device is not supported or you forgot to connect up the internet.
even new china $2 mouse on my new w10 pc , needs to get the driver from MS to run it, the first time. internet connected. see that?
if I plug in my old year 2000 flat bed scanner, microsoft dropped all w10 support on it, dead. on purpose.
and 1000s of other old printes. and web cams, and well most things from year 2000.. dead. win2k , xp and vista. dead.
for good reasons , ask can tell.
I call it Elvis left the building effect. (like Umax ended all support forever.) You can not fix or run the true dead.
PnP only works on viable sources. never the dead. have list of dead , that i keep , its on the wiki.

I am thankful to you. Yes, I didn't purchased this one, my brother did in UAE in 2012. Now I am using 8.1 almost all sound and other issues are resolved. just usb remaining. Shall I try re-installing Windows 7 from DVD (available in market) Or ISO.
Port is not dead, description failed.
F11 works but aks for Drivers Media.
Shall I go for Windows 7???
But I tried windows 7 already same issue occurs.
I am thankful to you, I will always remeber your advises, will never dare to install any other OS excep pre installed.
Learned a lot.

ok so now I know you run non HP media installs, (long post, drivers can be hard work) so.......
from whom ive no clue, (running non authentic media is huge risk, near infinite !)
f11 will be dead when you use non HP media installs, do you know what F11 does. it runs the w7 HP recovery partition's.
there are only 2 paths with any OS. on HP
the HP media kit , for your PC, matched. perfectly, or
using real MS install media, (no not stolen or hacked software found goggling)
from MS, or buy a CD/DVD Disk , called REtail or for Refurbished computers , with MS logos and markings, Legit.
so what ever is there now leave it,, ok. lets to test #1 can we?
you you said USB fails.
but we don't know anything about that, at all, yet , see why, (its complex)
ARE YOU ON THE INTERNET NOW< on this failing PC< it need to be first on the net,.
so Plug and PLay can work, do you know what PnP is? and why its key to USB success?
answer 10,000 things can be plugged in to USB and most do not work, and some do if PnP can reach microsoft update servers.. a fact, key to PNP successes....... do so now. please. if that is dead ,guess what WE FIX THAT FIRST>
if the PORT is dead, (USB PORT totally dead) we fix that first. ok.
test 1: does mouse work on the dead port. usb.?
test 2, does keyboard usb work on this dead port.?
no , no, then the port is dead. see??
what if the mouse and keyboard ran, that means the USB port is NOT dead , see?
we must walk first then run. see?
if that fails, we go to device manager and find the dead USB port, see it? it will be marked
unknown, red marks or yellow marks. for BAD drivers USB.
we then right click the dead port in DM and pick UPDATE DRIVER, if the internet is connected it then magically goes to
the MS servers and tries to get the correct driver (all this is magic ) and if found uses it.
if not found , then we MUST USE MANUAL MODE to fix this, humans mode, go to HP or chip maker.
if you went to HP first, and read your page, on your PC youd have seen it only supports, lower version OS not w10...
first be running w7 , w8 or w10 64bit are you, you must. be.
the go here ( this page is w8 64bit drivers ) so lets try them on w10 64bit, luck can happen here,
see those first 5 lines of driver there, those are critcal to any OS from HP.
some will not run, this is because there are like 5 chips used for networking on this one pc.
HP builds PCs and uses what chips are available at the time, see? see the 5 makers there> broadcom, intel. etc>
run each one and the one that runs error free is the match. see? HP sp12345.exe progs check scans your chips to be sure its a match for you. (i do this in another way, i have a chip scanner)
if this is to complex, say so and we can do this 1 line at time
here
is the bad pc, connected to the internet and the main browser works, I must be, or Pnp is Dead, (mostly)
PnP looks locally first but will not find newer hardware there, see? 2009 OS can find 2017 hardware can it?
so it looks at MS live to get it.
so is it connected? to the web now>/?(my one line) please tell how. Ethernet or wifi.?
btw some UAE wifi cards (picimini) do not run here, we have FCC laws here, that make them useless here.
use Ethernet to connect. if wifi is DEAD> , we use different channel frequencies. here. )
ps , now i learned what ee suffix is UAE country, thanks.ours is us. suffix.
if sill confused ?why not get a tech to fix your computer..
now what if the USB port passes the mouse test and keyboard USB test.
well that means the DEVICE you just plugged in failed not USB, the DEVICE
there are 10,000 devices to plug in there.
many will NEVER WORK ever. there.
USB.
like this list shows. (if not internet connected there is no hope of finding (PnP) these , automatically so fails)
- devices from year 2000 , with no w7 up drivers ever made. relics fail and fail hard here.
- devices the maker is no longer in business or left this market, (chips) sorry folks no drivers .
- devices like old web cams, will be dead, and may other things, I bet bet 1/2 of them are dead. for ever forward.
- dead devices. of any kind , for sure old printers.
- Old USB devices, fail, but you can go to the makers web site and read, see, no w7 up support, zero. if true.
the best driver are from
HP,
then MS. (its called a whql driver "certified)")
and then the maker of chip or device (not beta but full released and best is WHQL certified)
and never from hacking sites on the web full of Malware ,ever. you will get infected , I promise here.
when I load the wrong OS what do I do , well I go here first. the DM (controlPanel +device manager)
these are all drivers here, matching all chips, inside the system.
see this, see my USB devices are not marked with bad words? /marks. if this looks good
then i test each port with 1 USB mouse. (must be internet connected ok?)
the PC then goes DINGDONG (usb connect sound) and the PC then runs PnP processes.
the PC looks local , and fails most time then goes to the web next (microsoft servers (update) and finds it.
this too can fail as all PC tech know and what to do next, (manually) ask how.
if the most works , the try other more complex devices, I have USB headphones that love to fail on PCs but not mine.
to see all errors expand each one, click the > , mark to do that.
most folks are clueless here, they plug things in and magic happens, MS magic)
but not always. not at all.

let me focus just on this one line of issues,
"USB 2.0 all devices are not working including Data Travellers, Printers, Internet Dongles".(wifi or ethernet? ?)? ?"
lets say the dead (not really) USB port 2, has issues.
well lets say now , a mouse works on that USB 2 port. or a keyboard, see it does work
but what about the 10,000 USB other devices in the world plugged in there,? we can talk USB devices forEVER,
so,, if using and old 2000 year printer sure it fails. there is no w10 driver for year 2000 printer (sorry)
Microsoft has a page on what w10 works on and not, and 18 year old stuff is no good. clearly stated, there.
but you never told the model # or makers name of the printer. once . most printers every made will not work only newer ones do.... 10 years or less old. (approx)
nor internet dongle name and model nor did you say its wifi or ethernet. (it's lan or wlan) and many made old do not work now. sorry, its not HP fault nor MS fault its the makers of the devices fault. !!!
nor data Travellers what is that?. ahhh a usb STICK memory, or USB thumb drive or omg HP usb key, (bad name that)
ok most usb stick will work but only if internet connected.
so my guess is you use the USB internet, and have internet USB gongle. why?
why have this device/?> (btw , if its new it will work, ask now to do so, can do , i can do any driver, if possible)
i can only guess.
1: you lost your ethernet cable.? this PC does this method , new on the box.
2: the UAE , pci-mini, wifi card inside is dead in USA, sure it its, it dont belong here, ever. HP has US version buy it.
3: your Ethernet chip driver is missing , if yes, tell me we can fix it easy. in 99% of cases.
if a mouse or keyboard fails.(intenet connected first) on usb 2, tell me. please.
so far not one clue here. on this one line above, asked many times.
i don't use usb mem sticks as a test, why?, they scramble too easy, not keyboards ever.
keyboards very reliable. as test.
if we fail to find a W10 , usb 2 driver, (if it is dead , IDK)
we can find it, if the HP fails, (there is no W10 page there)
then we find chips name and number and get it form the maker.
a case in point, for your education using the wrong OS. ;next.
my PC has 2 usb ports. both tricky to find, W10 dead ports, PnP
one is RICHO
other is NEC.
let me teach you this, my newer, HP elitebook w7 certified only.
fresh loaded with W10 from MICROSOFT MEDIA, newest release build.
installs and the USB3 port is dead on mine, I expected this,, after all Im not using HP media am I.
here is what else is dead, then,
w10 on Elitebooks.
- USB3 DOA. ( the chip maker saved me... ask how)
- all HP security features package dead, (the HP app with that name fails hard) but never w7. by DESIGN.
- including TPM, finger print reader, card readers, (both)
- the quick launch keys are all dead, only HP driver works here but must must be forced w7 to 10. by hand.
- The hard drive protector is dead. (inertial chip magic device) DOA. and hopeless.
- the HP offical, USB , BIOS flash APP is dead, DOA. hopeless, but I hacked it and now works with Freedos.
- driver encrption HP dead.
- and more, I will stop here,, many of the bundled HP software , is now dead. (some do work)

All right.
I am using internet on wifi
Mouse, Keyboard nothing working.. I have a 3.0 ScanDisk data traveller usb it is working.
issue is in Generic USB hub as previous screenshot shared, I am also sharing screenshot of device descripture fail device
Printer is working in other laptops running windows 8,10 and even 7 , Printer is HP P3005 dn

posts photos, in JPG format not over 1024x768 size,
my BIG Canon does massive huge HR photos, all must be resized to fit this tiny text box you are in now.
so i take it your bad photo is of a dead, USB hub.
its marked as bad, right ,so you then did RC properties on it and details,sure,...
that is the correct action to take. (lacking HP support for w10)
did you load the w7 base drivers at HP>? yet? for sure chip set.?
8087 (and 8086) + Intel, ever heard of them sure they invented all this stuff, 1981. (8086 processor remember that)
and the cute company code ,..
next is 0024
first off I have no idea at all which HP SP12345.exe fail contains your missing driver, only HP knows that.
not loading those is the cause here..
but see other fight this, ? for same reason not using the OEM drivers first...
https://communities.intel.com/thread/59207
it must match your intel chip series, 5, 6,7, 8?
too.
see here at HP.
or intel as support agent, do that yet>? let them find the missing driver.
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html
or
again at hp
that is a hard one , i see lots of hits in google on this 1 failure.
if you load all the HP drivers for w7 , (some will fail, due to 1 per chip and some chips not there)
and it fails, that means the w7 HP set of drivers is no good fOR W10, and we alreadly know that. in spades
leaving only 2 possible paths here. 3??
1 get them at INTEL.
2: put PC back as HP built it< (yes captain-obvious answser)
3: live with dead ports.?
or a site search at HP:
lots of those links are all dead ended, WITS END deals.
even web searched, see it on other PC brands.
someone designed your PC for all these piece to work in harmony, why not let him. (mr W7+ your PC)
PS
im curious what intel chips are there.
not easy to do from here but I have chip PCI scanner (sniffer3) that does that.
ill look in to that.
09-09-2017 10:52 AM
ok you photo started working
at this moment in photo what is plugged into USB ports.
best is nothing for now. (keyboard mouse exected)
it says discriptor request failed, that means I think the device plugged into said port, is an unknown device.
or is dead.
the PC sends a command via the USB port to a device, if the device does not respond its dead
trouble is ive no clue what you have plugged. in
ever heard of MS USBview>
my elitebook has 9 usb ports docked, and non are intel chips. in fact Ricoh and NEC, but is Intel I7 and glue logic.
as you can see all those parts must like each other.
i have usbview64 running in w10 now.
maker and is safe.. and is PORTABLE !!
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usb_devices_view.html
get this and see what it shows, if the port is dead, that is one thing, if the device is dead plugged in that be other issues.
what I want to know after seeing descriptors fail
is learn what actual port is failing, min has 9 ports, its real easy to get confused,
learn what fails, and where.
then test that port with a keyboard,
then plug in the device that fails and then tell me what that device is.
there are 10,000 devices, or more, I cant guess them , ever.
09-09-2017 11:03 AM
the HP site on your pc does not show what is truely inside any PC. only in vague terms
so I unziped your driver pack chipset.
I says this.
Chipset#: Intel(R) 7 Series/C216 Chipset Family
im reading the readme.txt file inside the compressed (packed) HP loader.
it says W2000 to w7 support only, got that? and win7 -64bit
then says.
- Core PCI and ISAPNP Services
- PCIe Support
- IDE/ATA33/ATA66/ATA100 Storage Support
- SATA Storage Support
- USB Support
- Identification of Intel(R) Chipset Components in
the Device Manager
why not load this driver, if fails , you know why. (this is w7 chip set for you PC) load that yet?
