My notebook has three usb 2.0 ports , does it support usb 3.0 , if yes to what extent would the transfer speed boost from 2.0 to 3.0

@Anwardar , welcome to the forum.

 

No, the notebook doesn't have USB 3.0 ports.  There is no way to upgrade it to USB 3.0.  Here is a good comparison of USB 2.0 and USB 3.0.

No, the notebook doesn't have USB 3.0 ports.  There is no way to upgrade it to USB 3.0.  Here is a good comparison of USB 2.0 and USB 3.0.
