During my warranty period, I requested multiple times for the USB-C charging port to be checked.  I knew something wasn't right with it.  Both times it was returned and I continued to have issues.  HP sent multiple adaptors and one right before warranty ended along with battery replacement.  Comes to find out that this laptop is know for having this issue and the motherboard requires replacing.  Seems to me their repair techs should of known this and handled it during warranty.  I paid a lot of money adding extra's to this laptop.   Now I have to prop it up just so that the adaptor is seated enough to charge it    HP should of done a recall on this.

I tried to follow your instructions but the path is not the same.  It doesn't take me to 5. Click on "Show Options".
6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
