Hey,
So I have a HP Pavilion 15-cs-2535ng and I want to know whether I can charge it via the USB-C port. I have found conflicting information about it. The user manual that came with the laptop mentions, that if you want to charge the laptop, you should use the provided power brick (with barrel-plug), but at a different point mentions usb-c charging with up to 90 Watts at 20V (and charging with a barrel plug with up to 330 Watts, which makes no sense with this model). This german data sheet (https://h20195.www2.hp.com/v2/getpdf.aspx/c06404404.pdf) says both, that you can charge the Laptop with Usb-C on page 2 AND that the USB-C-port is only for data on page 3. Lastly, on the Hp-Support-Website (https://support.hp.com/de-de/document/c06430263) it says that the USB-c-port is only for data.
I don't know what to make out of this mess and I currently don't have a USB-C cable to try it out (trying out could damage the motherboard too). Thanks for any suggestions
