HP USB-C Dock G5
Microsoft Windows 11

I have a new Pavilion laptop and USB-C G5 dock.  The power light on the dock slowly pluses on and off, like you would expect to see if the laptop was hibernating; however the laptop and dock are on and functioning as expected.  I did download the G5 firmware, but it is a silent installation so there is no way to tell what is occurring and it throws no errors.

Any idea why this is happening or what is indicating?  I would expect this to be the case if the laptop was docked and sleeping, but not when everything is powered on and being used.

Sounds like your computer is NOT compatible with the dock. What is your computer ?

I certainly hope this isn't the case!   This is the dock that HP Sales sold me direct with the laptop.  I have a HP Pavilion Laptop 15t-eg300, 15.6"
