I wanted to ask a question, I currently have a USB-C HP G5 Dock station, plugged into the laptop via USB-C cable which is also charging for everything else, as I use in other laptops.

However in this one it does not do everything, it does not charge, you can see all the screens that I connect, the USB etc. but not the charging, and if it does charge in that port.

these is my laptop

The link only says very general. Your machine can be one of the following machines

                https://support.hp.com/au-en/product/victus-by-hp-16.1-inch-gaming-laptop-pc-16-e0000/2100371512/pro...

For example

                Victus by HP Laptop 16-e0000np

It uses 200 W Smart AC power adapter It has 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate (DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge) port which does not support Power Delivery therefore you can not use USB-C charger (or from dock) to charge your machine.

And also the USB-C Gen 5 wattage rating is 100W 0r 120W which is too weak for your machine.

Regards.

understood, and sorry for the erroneous specifications, it was a mistake.

even if you set a higher current, it still won't work, since it won't charge because it doesn't have Power Delivery.

But if I can use it as the rest of utilities even if I have to use their separate charger, is it correct, I thought that to bring the USB-C already brought the Power Delivery.

Thank you very much
