Hi, I own an HP Pavilion 14 ce1009nl notebook. I would like to know if the usb-c port on the side of the pc can only be used for data transfer or even to charge the computer itself.

Sorry, no - the port cannot be used to charge the computer.

 

Port:

USB Type-C™ 3.1 Gen 1 (Data transfer only, up to 5Gb/s)
