Hello,
I have bought my Spectre x360 a few months back, and it seems that both USB-C ports no longer work (the sole USB 3.0 port still works like a charm). If I connect anything (say, my smartphone or an external hard drive) it registers at the USB 3.0 port, but neither of the USB-C ports seems to do anything - the devices don't even show up under Disk Management.
I followed the instructions in this page but unfortunately to no avail. Do you have any idea how to fix this, or do I have to send my laptop in for maintenance?
Edit: Oh yes, and of course I've tried different USB-C cables - same result.

Run a diagnostic test on all the USB ports. Tap esc as you power up then F2 then component tests then USB. You need a device like a thumb drive to plug into each port as the test runs. Let us know if you get an error Code.

Thanks for the reply! I only had my hard drive at hand so I could only test one USB-C port at a time. Following the instructions, I unplugged all USB cables, then plugged them in as prompted. After that I was told to "Retry connecting to the port you wish to test using a USB device such as a flash drive, keyboard or mouse only. [etc.]" - I unplugged the hard drive and plugged it in again, continued, and received the following error message:
USB Port Check: FAILED
FAILURE ID: MAHU04-9HB9MP-MFPXG1-8D4503
I get the same error code for both ports.

Oh dear, I feared this would be the case. Yes, I believe so - I bought this laptop brand new only a few months ago, so it should still be covered by warranty. I suppose I'll run a full hardware scan and contact the support, then. Do you by chance know roughly how long it takes to get a laptop sent in for warranty replaced/repaired?
