Product: HP G8 255 Ryzen 7 5700u
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi

 

My HP G8 255 laptop has 1 USB C port.

Is it possible to connect a USB C power supply directly, to charge battery or for electrical working power?

If it is not possible, what is the docking station that could allow me to do so?

It ONLY has (1) USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1 (data transfer only) port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to

  • Charge your machine
  • Connect to an external monitor with / without hub/dock/adapter
