Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Since I bought my laptop, I have not been able to transfer files from my phone to it using the USB port. 

When connected the phone charges, but doesn't pop up USB preference option on my android phone and my phone does not show up on device manager. 

earlier on, when I connect my phone, the option pops up and disappears almost immediately, and this happened repeatedly. but now it doesn't pop up anymore, just charging

 

I tried connecting a Samsung device and it works perfectly but hasn't worked with my Techno device

 

Please help
