Hi. I have type-c port on my laptop and it supports data transfer only but i can not connect my type-c supported phone to my laptop for transfering data. To do that, i use 3 connector cables. First one is a small connecter in which one side is type-c other side is standart micro usb; other connecter is OTG cable and third connector is standart charge cable of my phone. Small connecter piece is connected to TYPE-c port of laptop, OTG cable is connected to smalls connecters micro-usb side, USB side of charge cable is connected to OTGs usb side and Type-c side of charge cable is connected to phone BUT there is no action on both side of devices?? Do i have to buy type-c to type-c cable? Thanks

Yes I think something is lost in the conversions.. You need to go directly usb-C to usb-C.
