Hi,

I'm wondering why my notebook doesn't charge with my new 100w charger. I've bought a charger wich supports 5V 3A, 9V 3A, 12V 3A, 15V 3A and 20V 5A but my notebook is only rated for 19.5V 2.31A.

It charges without any problems with my Dell 90W USB Type-C charger (5V 3A, 15V 3A, 9V 3A, 20V 4,5A) and other 20V notebook chargers.

I've tested the 100W charger on other notebooks, and it worked flawlessly. Could this be a handshake problem?

Would something like this work?

What is your  HP Pavilion x360 14 Convertible PC 14-dy0000 (23S36AV) machine ? It could be one of the following over 190 machines

            https://support.hp.com/in-en/product/product-specs/hp-pavilion-x360-14-convertible-pc-14-dy0000/mode...

For example:       HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-dy0057ng

It requires 45W charger. Please use a proper USB-C charger (without middle man) from 45W up to charge your machine.

Regards,

BH
