We purchased 30 HP Chromebooks 11's for a school back in 2014. I am just now looking into this problem. The charger is a microUSB similar to what you would use with a Samsung phone. The year we bought them, the students were pushing in the charger and basically either pushed too far or had problems getting the charger to connect. Within the first year, 20+ of them were unusable. I am trying to make them work somehow as unfortunately this was a waste. Is it possible there is a USB A cabke that would charge these Chromebooks? We later purchased chargers with the barrel style charger.
