Well that really is not a solution.  i have just tried to factory reset the laptop but it also does not let me.

Factory reset (operating system) does not solve the problem. HP Diagnostic is running outside of your operating system.

I read a previous thread that it was a driver causing the issue, however thanks for the troubleshooting.
