I have been trying without success to find the correct replacement cooling fan (HP part 720235-001) for my HP Envy 17t-j100 Product # F1H49AV laptop for well over a month now.   I first checked the HP Support website and was directed to partsurfer.hp.com website.  There I found the cooling fan replacement part for my laptop is no longer available through HP.   So, I began searching the internet and to date, I have ordered the fan from 4 different sellers and each time I have received a fan that is not the correct fan for my laptop.  I chose these sellers because the fans in their listing ads matched the information on my fan so I assumed that would be the fan I would receive.  Each time I received a fan where the information on the sticker on the front of the fan was completely different then the fan in the sellers listing and on my current fan.  Before ordering from the last two sellers, not at the same time.  I contacted them by email, included a picture of my fan showing the information on the front of the sticker and asked if the picture in their listing is the fan I would receive if I ordered from them.  I explained to them about the previous orders and I wanted to make sure I would be receiving the correct fan for my laptop.   I was given assurance by both that the fan model specified in their listing is the fan I would receive.  Well...I guess I do not need to tell you what happened.   Same thing, the fans I received were fans completely different from advertised in the seller listings.  Can someone please help me find the correct replacement fan for my laptop?
 
I start working at 14:00 today until midnight so I may not be able to respond to any inquiries until tomorrow.

Since the Fan is not available for ordering, I suggest you contact HP Support in your region for Service Options

 

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/ 
2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device. 
4) Select the country from the drop-down. 
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences. 
6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.
