I have just opened a brand new Elitebook x360 and it looks liek the simcardslot on the left side are blocked. But when checking in the Device Manager the modem is listed and dont have any issues.

Have anyone experience with this?

No Prying necessary.  If referring to the Wireless SIM card, and if the slot is simply covered (but available), press and release the tiny cover area on the left side of the outside of the case.  I cannot confirm the slot would be covered and can be opened by press-release, the illustration in the User Guide does not mention a "cover".

The LTE card slot is located inside the case as described in the Service Guide, Page 32 (reverse the "removal" instructions to install the WWAN module).

See Service and Maintenance Guide

Do you mean to refer to the HP LTE or WW WWAN module that is inserted inside the case?

Chapter 5, Page 31

The SIM card slot intended to be used for a Wireless SIM card is indeed located on the left side of the case (on the outside).  It is available in select models.  If you purchased this option, the slot should be available to acccept a Wireless SIM card.  Try using a slim tweezer or other small tippped tool to press in and then release the tiny tray that may be covering the opening.
