Wouldn't the usb A slots work?

Not enough bandwidth to provide decent video performance. It would be worse than what you have on the laptop now. Theoretically you can remove the back cover and use the wifi slot to attach an eGPU but #1 this is a very poor setup and #2 from prior answers I gather not something you would even consider trying.

I have had the laptop for a year, Wouldnt i be able to sell it used for like 400 USD and get a value gaming pc used from somewhere like jawa.gg?

That is an option.

I think imma just keep the current laptop the way it is, It handles most games on low settings fine besides the intensive ones such as Fortnite.

Quick question though, Is the SSD upgradeable? i find myself running out of space on it quite often. (Or should i use an external SSD?)Screenshot 2024-10-10 125422.png

The SSD is upgradeable. 256 gig is pretty small today. You might think about say a 2 TB. External drives will work but not very convenient. You can put in an SD card and move stuff like documents, music, videos to it and free up some space on the SSD.

Post back if you want to try that.

do you know how much USD it would need for somewhere like microcenter to do the upgrade? (And a suggested 1TB to 2TB drive thats under 100?)

HP Recommended

I do not know Microcenter's prices. A 1 TB SSD is less than $100:

They actually have a DIY center and you could take it in and do the upgrade yourself or under supervision.
