hp elitebook i5 8th gen 16gb ram
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I received an error message regarding a hotkey update for the Business Equipment Line.
There is already an article about how to solve the problem.
Here is the link to it: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebooks-Knowledge-Base/Update-HP-Hotkey-UWP-Service/ta-p/8356241
I followed the instructions, but it didn't really solve the problem. Was told if it didn't get fixed I should compress a file into a zip format and send it here ... but the site apparently the file type (.zip) is not supported.

After that I received the message :
HP Framework is not installed or not running.Download and install the HP Software Framework from the following link:
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/caps-softpaq/cmit/softpaq/CASLSetup.exe

I searched the link, and didn't get a result.
What should I do next?

with kind regards

Update to the situation :

There is an even easier solution : Head to the HP Support Assistant page. Click the Download HP Support Assistant button to install. Once the file is installed, restart your computer, and your hotkeys should be functional again.

It fixed you guys !

hope this will be helpful 🙂
