Good morning,
I have a hp 250 G5 W4M67EA#ABZ, with 4Gb of ram PC3L-14900S;
I would like to upgrade the pc with as much ram as possible, from the research I have done only 8gb banks can be found;
My computer only has 1 slot, occupied by 4Gb Micron.
Where can I find the list of supported ram?
Can you recommend a compatible ram, maybe I can find it on amazon.
Windows 10.
Thank you very much

Good morning:
If your notebook has one memory slot, the slot can only support up to 1 x 8 GB of DDR3L-1600 MHz memory.
Below is the link to the service manual. Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade information.
This should be a compatible DDR3L-1600 MHz 8 GB memory chip:
If your notebook still has the 2.5" mechanical hard drive installed, you may want to consider replacing that with a much better performing 2.5" SATA solid state drive (SSD).

You're very welcome.
I read too many posts from other forum members that for some crazy reason Samsung drives don't always work in HP notebook and desktop PC's.
You are free to install a Samsung drive, but I recommend this model which seems to work on almost every PC:
This is the 500 GB model for example:
