HP ProBook 440 G2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, dear HP community! I have HP ProBook 440 G2 and I wish update tpm from 1.2 to 2.0. But updates for my laptop do not contain this version of tpm. Does anyone have bios suitable for my laptop with this version of tpm? Or tell me how to rewrite bios so that it's supports this version of tpm. I will be very grateful. System specifications: Intel Core i3-4005U, Intel HD Graphics Family, 8 GB RAM.

Hi:

Unfortunately, your notebook's TPM firmware cannot be updated to version 2.0.

Below is the link to the models that can have the TPM firmware updated.

HP Desktops, Notebooks, and Workstations - HP TPM Configuration Utility With Windows 10 Anniversary ...

You need to have a Probook 4xx G3.

If you are interested in installing W11 on your PC as is, you can read this discussion for how I upgraded several HP and Dell notebook and desktop PC's that did not meet the W11 hardware requirements to W11 22H2.

You have to use the version of the Rufus utility that I zipped up and attached in the discussion (v3.18).

If the in-place upgrade fails, you should be able to clean install W11 using the bootable W11 installation flash drive you made with Rufus.
