Product: HP ProBook 440 G7 Notebook PC IDS Base Model

I want to update my laptop ram and ssd. Previouly when I buy this laptop manufacturer give a samsung 3200MHz DDR4 ram. But in the device specifications I see my laptop contain 2666MHz ram. So, what should I do now? and give me a suggestion that how could I update my ram and ssd.

Hi:

 

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

 

Maintenance and Service Guide HP ProBook 440 G7 Notebook PC

 

The memory upgrade info and supported drive configurations can be found in chapter 1.

 

While your notebook's processor can only run the memory at a max speed of 2666 MHz, and HP installed a DDR4-2666 MHz memory chip, a DDR4-3200 memory chip will also work fine.

 

It will automatically bridge to 2666 MHz to match the speed your notebook's processor can run the memory at.
