Hello,
I want to upgrade the memory of my Notebook(Product Number: E0J97UA) to 8GB. Currently it has 4GB Kingston installed on slot #2.
The question is: which kind of(model and specification) memory should I buy in order to not cause any compatibility issues with the existing memory ?
P.S. When I am inspecting my memory with Speccy program, it shows my ram info as: 4.00GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 798MHz (11-11-11-28); however when I am looking through HP software to the same, it shows as 1600Mhz.

Hi,
There are two slots and max RAM is 16GB of DDR3L 1600Mhz (2x8GB)
So what you need is a stick of 4GB of DDR3L 1600Mhz RAM to place in the empty slot. You can buy from your preferred brand such as Crucial, Samsung....
On page 54 of service manual you can see the steps to place the RAM in notebook.

P.S. Speccy lists the actual speed, however since DDR is double data rate you need to multiply by two to get the actual speed of the RAM which is 1600Mhz.
Hope it helps,
David
