I want to use my system for android development, for that, I have to use an emulator for android development.

But when I open the emulator my system gets really slow.

What if I upgrade my laptop using 8GB of RAM can it resolve my issue or do I have to replace my 4GB RAM with 12 or16GB instead of 8GB. I am too confused.

Below is the Hard Drive that I am using currently:-

  • Spindle Speed
    7200 rpm
  • Type
    HDD
  • Capacity
    320 GB

SECOND QUESTION:-I

f I upgrade my RAM is it compatible with my hard drive or not.

I believe you (under different name) asked similar question yesterday but only for 8GB. Yes, you should be able to upgrade to 16GB using

A2: NO, your HDD stays the same. Upgrading RAM won't effect HDD on your machine.
