I have just bought the Elitebook 830 G6 6XD26EA#ABU and I'm trying to clone the installed INTEL 512GB SSD so that I can replace it with the much better performing and bigger, Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB SSD. I'm coming to the conclusion that it just isn't possible. I really hope I'm wrong.
Has anyone actually managed to succesfully replace their SSD with a larger drive.
If so please let me know what method, settings and software you used to achieve your success.

I believe the Intel 512GB drive is actually 2 drives, one is 16GB or 32GB drive for Optane and the other one is for storage. Please check Device Manager to find out.
To be able to replace the Intel drive, you have to disable Optane on your machine first. Please use the following guide
