HP Recommended
Your machine currently has 1TB 5400RPM HDD. You can add M.2 SSD to your machine. My suggestion use the following compatible M.2 SSD
https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/hp-15-da0008ca/CT14018149
(a) Clone existing HDD to new SSD,
(b) Remove old HDD and run on SSD only or few days or a week,
(c) Format old HDD and put its back to files/data.
