HP Pavilion x360 m3 Convertibl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently purchased this laptop HP Pavillion x360 m3 convertible.  When I checked the capability of the wireless card I noticed a  maximum of 200mbps. My internet provider's speed is 300mbps and when I did a speed test, it doesn't even come close to 200mbps. (my other laptops hit 300mbps without any issues) Can I upgrade the Dual Band Wireless AC card to one that can accommodate the 300 mbps? If so who would know what kind to get.

Thank you for your time!

Hi,

Your machine is an HP Pavilion x360 m3-u001dx

   http://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05157231

It has  Intel 802.11ac (1x1) and Bluetooth® 4.0 Combo. The series supports the following wifi cards

Supports the following WLAN modules:

● Intel Dual Band Wireless–AC 3165 802.11 ac 1×1 + Bluetooth® 4.2 LE Combo Adapter

● Realtek RTL8723BE 802.11b/g/n 1×1 Wi–Fi + Bluetooth 4.0 Combo Adapter

● Broadcom BCM4371 802.11 ac 2×2 WiFi + BT 4.1 Combo Adapter

The Intel is a dual band card but only is 1x1 card therefore it is a bit slow. Your machine has 2 antennas, you may try the Broadcom above (part number  792610-205) or an Intel

    http://www.intel.com.au/content/www/au/en/wireless-products/dual-band-wireless-ac-7260-bluetooth.htm...

Page 53 of the following manual shows you how:

hi,

i have a HP Pavilion x360 13-u102ng.

1.  I would like to replace WLAN

Realtek RTL8723BE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC (b/g/n) also with Broadcom BCM4371 802.11 ac 2×2 WiFi + BT 4.1 Combo Adapter. Possible?
2. Which Harddrive is inside? 7mm or 9,5mm?  (1TB WD Slim 7mm or HGST Travelstar 5K1000 HTS541010A7E630 9,5mm) Is this replaceable with a SSD?

Specs:

Hi Banhien,

I will really appreciate if you may give me the same "required/compatible wi-fi adaptor" info also.

I have;

HP Pavilion 13 x360 PC

Product No: L0B89EA#AB8

I also want to replace my wi-fi adaptor with a "802.11 ac" type adapter.

Can I and which adapters (WLAN modules) can I purchase for this?

Thanks and best regards,

Hakan
