Hi, I want to upgrade my system's HDD to SSD.

Product Number
F6C59PA
Microprocessor
2.4 GHz Intel Core i7-4700MQ
Hard Drive
1 TB 5400 rpm SATA

I followed the official documentation provided by HP (Service manual: link).
It says I can replace my current HDD with a maximum of 512 GB SSD. But when I tried to purchase the mentioned SSD using spare part number: 749762-001 at HP Parts Store, it shows this message:

I am not able to purchase the SSD from the official HP store. So, I have two queries:

1. Can I install more than 512 GB SSD in my current system?

2. From where I can purchase the SSD which is compatible with my system?

Thanks.

Hi:

Here is the Crucial report on your notebook's model series.

You don't need to buy a HP part number SSD, and you can buy a 1 TB one.

You can buy a 2 TB one for that matter.
