You can only install one of the supported motherboards listed in chapter 3 of the service manual, and the ones that come with the AMD GPUs only work on W7.

 

They don't work on W10.

 

Also, replacing the motherboard would require you to buy a new Windows license.

Your notebook does not meet any of Microsoft's minimum W11 hardware requirements for W11.

 

It does not have a UEFI BIOS.

 

It does not support secure boot.

 

It does not have a TPM 2.0 security device.

 

It does not have a minimum of an Intel 8th generation core processor.

 

If you currently have W10 installed on your notebook, and if you are interested in installing W11 on your PC as is, you can read this discussion for how I upgraded several HP and Dell notebook and desktop PC's that did not meet the W11 hardware requirements to W11 22H2.

 

You have to use the version of the Rufus utility that I zipped up and attached in the discussion (v3.18).

 

Re: Issues upgrading to windows 11 - HP Support Community - 8517912

 

The only difference is that when you set up Rufus to make the bootable USB flash drive, you have to use the MBR partition scheme and not the GPT partition scheme because your PC does not support booting from a GPT drive.

 

If the in-place upgrade fails, you should be able to clean install W11 using the bootable W11 installation flash drive you made with Rufus.
