I have an HP Mini 110-3700 PC series with a system: 32-bit operating system, x64-based processor. It is running on Windows 10. Is it possible to change the OS to 64-bit to improve its performance? I came accross a website, windowcentral that says it can, for as long as there are available HP drivers that support it. I really need your expert advise. Ever since I upgraded to windows 10, my notebook has not been performing well. It is taking forever to start the windows including my default browser and other apps. Your help will be highly appreciated.

Short answer: NO.
I found one web-page that cites:
1GB DDR3 System Memory (1 DIMM; 1GB max supported)
for your computer.
Microsoft recommends a minimum of 1GB for 32-bit Windows, and a minimum of 2GB for 64-bit Windows.
So, your hardware cannot be upgraded to 2GB, to meet the minimum specifications.
Open the Windows Task Manager, and switch to the 'Performance' tab, to see how much CPU and RAM are being used.

There were some updates to Windows 10 that were issued on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, that cause a "black" screen for 10 to 15 minutes after you enter your Windows login password on an HP computer.
Did your symptoms start on/after that date, or before that date?
