Upgrade Questions HP Pavilion 15-cs1065cl

Pavilion 15-cs1065cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I would like to add more memory and a larger capacity SSD to my laptop.  Looking to see what options I have with this particlar model.  CPU-Z shows one empty slot (the forst slot has 8BG of DDR4-2400 RAM).  The existing SSD is a 256GB PCIe NVMe M.2 Solid State Drive.

@HudsonBob

Machine has 8 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB) of RAM and   256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD for storage

1. RAM: You can simply add 8GB to slot 2 using the following RAM

       https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/pavilion-15-cs1065cl/CT14985963

    or go all the way to 32GB

      https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/pavilion-15-cs1065cl/CT14985932

2. For storage: You have two options

    (a) Replace 256GB with a larger capacity SSD using the following (or similar) product

         https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/pavilion-15-cs1065cl/CT14985924

   (b) Keep 256GB for system and add 2.5" HDD/SSD to HDD bay for data/files BUT you need the following parts

  •       The hard drive brackets are available using spare part number L19469-001.
  •       The hard drive cable is available using spare part number L23889-001

Regards.
