Hi, I'm going to buy one of these Pavilion 14 but I can't find anyware the maximun ram each one can support and whether they have a second slot for the upgrade.

Pavilion 14-ce0024nl has i7 8gen.

Pavilion 14-ce0036nl has i5 8gen.

I looked here at page 52   http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06133567   but I didn't find any answer to my question.

Thank you

Best regards

Massimo

The Manual link in your post is not working for some reason. Here's the Service manual:

Manual

See p. 52 and here is a bird's eye view of the inside:

Memory slot circled in redMemory slot circled in red

One SODIMM memory module slot, noncustomer-accessible/non-upgradable

Supports up to 16-GB of system memory

DDR4-2400 single channel support (DDR4-2666 bridged to DDR4-2400)

Above applies to 8th gen models such as the 2 you ask about. So, bottom line, up to 16 gigs RAM, one socket is available and one module can be installed. So if you buy either of those, the only way to upgrade is to remove the 8 gig module shipped with the laptop and replace it with a 16 gig DDR4-2666 module.
