@HarindraA Here's all you need to know about upgrades:

Disclaimer: I must let you know that HP does not recommend upgrades or hardware changes as the device is equipped with parts that perform at its optimal performance by design, that said, the upgradeable parts listed by HP articles are purely for your ease, as the decision to upgrade will be at your own discretion.

Check out the image below for details on parts tested and approved by HP to work on your device, also use the above link for keyword search to find the parts you need, along with its part numbers.

you may order the replacement parts on the HP Parts Store, If you've already looked for it and couldn't find it on the HP Parts Store, you may want to get it locally at the online store such as Amazon or eBay, etc...as the part numbers are universal.

(Note: The link above is specific to the OP's product, if anyone needs information about their device, please respond with the complete product number for assistance and we'll be happy to help)

You may upgrade your laptop to maximum 16 GBs of RAM and use any M2 SSD (yes it is supported). They can either be upto 1TB or more but 512GBs is the maximum seen in your laptop series.

Samsung, Adata XPG, Transcend, etc all work fine.

If you already have a HDD installed, you can use both the storage options together. SSD and the HDD, make the SSD primary boot device as that will help you to boost the speeds in no time and use the HDD for storing other data.
