Hello, I have a HP 15-r102nl with 8GB RAM installed. Can I upgrade to 16GB? Is it available a second empty slot on motherboard? Thanks in advance

The Service Manual says on p. 2 that these machines could have one or two memory slots, depends on model:

To find out how many slots you have in Windows 10:
Open task manager
Select More Details
Select the Performance tab
Select Memory
The top will show you how many GB you actually have. Lower part of window will show you how many slots you have and how many are used.
Edit: The bottom will also tell you the speed of your RAM. Safe bet is to install the same speed RAM when you upgrade.
I also attempted to find on Crucial.Com but couldn't get it to show your machine.
Your should be able to run 16GB RAM. IF you have 2 slots, is best to run 2 sticks of 8GB to get to 16GB. IF you only have 1 slot, then you could replace what you have with a 16GB stick.
Also, if you have 2 slots that are used, you must be running 2 4GB sticks and would have to replace both with 8GB sticks to do what you stated.
