Hi everybody. Can I upgrade RAM capacity to 16 GB or more ? And, if yes, how can I do it since HP doesn’t give any assistance on this laptop from may of this year?

Hi:

 

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

 

Maintenance and Service Guide HP Pavilion 15 Laptop PC

 

Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade info.

 

According to the manual, your notebook has two memory slots and can support up to 2 x 8 GB of memory.

 

I recommend this 16 GB kit for your notebook:  DDR4-3200 memory will automatically bridge to 2400 MHz to match the speed of your notebook's processor and it costs less nowadays than the DDR4-2400 memory it came with.

 

Crucial 16GB Kit (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 SODIMM | CT2K8G4SFRA32A | Crucial IT

 

This is the 16 GB DDR4-2400 kit:

Along with the service manual, I also found some service videos to remove the bottom cover, remove the battery and remove and replace the memory:
