My Laptop is a HP Pavilion x360 13-U102NG. It has a combined Wireless LAN-Bluetooth Card (RTL 8723BENF) that provides only the 2.4 GHz Band. All speed tests I have done say only about 50 Mbit but my Internet Provider Speed is 280 Mbit (fibre optic cable in the house). So I would like to upgrade the WIFI Card with a faster Dual-Band ac Card (doubling the current tested speed at least would be okay for me) . Is it possible and who knows which one to take?

See p. 54 of the Manual here:
Access to the wireless card requires removal of the motherboard. I am also concerned that your laptop likely has a single wireless antenna so trying to upgrade to a dual band 2.4/5ghz card, while theoretically possible, will be a huge project.

You would be better off using a usb wireless dongle with dual band capability. Wie so:

Thanks a lot for your quick response! Specially the service manual helps a lot because there are several cards listedI! I just removed the motherboard yesterday to take a look at the wireless card. There are two antenna cables connected to the old Realtek RTL8723BE Adapter. Does it mean it has the required dual antenna for the ac card or is it possibly a different dual antenna which is not compatible?
