Hi,

Your notebook supports max 32GB of DDR4 2400MHz RAM (2x16GB) even if the service manual mentions 16GB.

There are two slots and at the moment you have one 8GB module and one empty slot. So, you could add another 8GB module in the empty slot which should be enough.

Example:

https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP-Compaq/pavilion-15-cs1020nl#MEMORYFilters

On page 56 of service manual, you can see the steps to install the RAM

Hope it helps,

David

If you look on page 1 of the service manual you can see 15-cs1000 – 15-cs1999

which means all the models from cs1000 to cs1999

Hope it helps,

David

Oh ok! I didnt noticed, and what about the memory section in page 2 that says:

"Two SODIMM memory module slots, non-customer-accessible/non-upgradable"

Does it means that I cant upgrade by myself?
