Got the disc in from the place you had me order from today and did the recovery back to Vista. So far everything seems to be recovering well.  Disc are now out and laptop restarted saying "software is being installed."  Will this update the bios as well are will I still have to update it?

You will have to update the BIOS using the exe file I posted the other day.

 

The recovery media just reinstalls Vista, the drivers and software that originally came with your notebook.
