Hello
I would like to upgrade my laptop so it is faster and so I can use Windows 11.
The only hardware I need to update for that is the processor.
On a PC I would just replace the processor, but I have been reading that this laptops processor is soldered in.
Frist question, can this be unsoldered and a new CPU put in?
If so, what is the best CPU to replace the factory one with.
Second questions, if the factory CPU cannot be replaced, what is the best motherboard I can replace this one with?
Third, I would like to update the hard drive. I think there is a single slot. What is the best upgrade for this? I
Thank you in advance for your help!

You need to specifiy exactly what model notebook you want a manual for.
The subject of your original post was you wanted info on a 15-cs0xxx model series notebook.
Then in the body of the post you posted an exact model number from an entirely different model series--15-Cw0055nr.

That is the service manual I twice posted the link to--for the 15-cw0xxx model series.
I have no idea why after I post the link to the manual, it doesn't work, but I see that it doesn't for some reason.
I have zipped up and attached the service manual for the 15-cw0xxx model series below.

Hi:
The processor is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be upgraded.
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
Maintenance and Service Guide HP Pavilion 15 Laptop PC
Chapter 3 has the list of supported motherboards.
Before you spend hundreds of dollars to upgrade the motherboard, if you are interested in installing W11 on your PC as is, you can read this discussion for how I upgraded several HP and Dell notebook and desktop PC's that did not meet the W11 hardware requirements to W11 22H2.
You have to use the version of the Rufus utility that I zipped up and attached in the discussion (v3.18).

If the in-place upgrade fails, you should be able to clean install W11 using the bootable W11 installation flash drive you made with Rufus.
Your notebook has a M.2 slot that supports NVMe SSD's.
The slot is PCIe Gen 3.0 as it is in all of the motherboards listed in the manual.

Unfortunately not! And, I have not been able to find the manual you are describing.
But, I found this one
