Hello everyone,

I wanted to get help and find out if I am able to upgrade my processors to help run programs better or if I'm trying to upgrade the the wrong hardware. I have a 16 gb ram installed too.

Sorry, the following specs is your machine

 

     https://support.hp.com/ca-en/document/c04704844

 

  • CPU: You can't upgrade CPU, you totally need a new motherboard with CPU and this is a very expensive upgrade. Buying new machine would be cheaper.
  • RAM: Yes, it has one slot of RAM and supports up to 8GB max using the following part number

           -GB (PC3L, 12800, 1600-MHz)   693374-005
