i have hp 15 da0077tx ,which has 8 gb ram in one slot, whem typed this command C:\Windows\System32>wmic memphysical get MaxCapacity, MemoryDevices
MaxCapacity MemoryDevices
33554432 2

 

which shows total 32gn ram it suppourts but the service manual of laptop 15 says it suppourts only upto 16 gb,8gb per slotservice manual hp 15 

 

So should i buy 8gb or 16gb,my laptop is having already 8gb in its one slot,please do kindly answer this

Based on the report you ran; your notebook can support 2 x 16 GB of memory despite the fact that the service manual indicates only 2 x 8 GB of memory is supported.

The Crucial memory report also indicates that 2 x 16 GB of memory is supported.
